Tenimenti Spinsanti
Tenimenti Spinsanti works with the native and international varieties of Marche, in central Italy's Adriatic-facing region. The winery's portfolio centers on Montepulciano, the dark-skinned grape that defines much of the area's character—structured, mineral-driven, capable of aging. Sassóne, a blend of Montepulciano with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, represents the winery's approach to combining regional tradition with international grapes. Camars offers a pure expression of Montepulciano, while Adino marries Montepulciano with Sangiovese, the Tuscan variety that shares similar tonal ground. Wine Spectator and Wine Advocate have rated these wines, with Sassóne earning particular recognition. The winery's output reflects Marche's position as a source of serious, food-friendly reds—wines built on acidity and tannin rather than immediate richness.
