Tenuta Alzatura produces wines in Montefalco, the heart of Umbria's wine country in central Italy. The winery focuses on the region's signature varieties: Sagrantino, a dark-skinned grape that yields structured reds with grip and complexity, and Trebbiano, which in these hands becomes a crisp, mineral white. Aria di Casa Montefalco Bianco, a Trebbiano-based wine, represents the winery's approach to the region's white expression. Montefalco Sagrantino, the flagship red, captures the intensity and tannin architecture for which the appellation is recognized. A second white, Cortili Montefalco Bianco, rounds out the portfolio. These wines have been assessed by Wine Advocate, Wine Enthusiast, Decanter, and Wine Spectator.
