Tenuta Maria Teresa

Tenuta Maria Teresa produces wines from central Tuscany, drawing on the region's classic varietals and terrain. The winery's portfolio centers on three flagship expressions: Colline Lucchesi Merlot, a single-varietal wine that demonstrates the grape's structure in this microclimate; Fattoria Bernicchi Rosso, a Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz blend; and San Martino In Vignale Toscana, built on Sangiovese. Wine Spectator has rated these wines, with the Merlot and Rosso each scoring 89 points, while the Sangiovese-based San Martino In Vignale earned 87 points. The range reflects Tuscany's dual identity—both as a home for international varieties and for indigenous grapes that have defined the region for centuries.
