Triacca

Triacca produces Nebbiolo-based wines from Valtellina, the Alpine valley in Lombardia where steep terraced vineyards define the landscape and the wines. The winery's portfolio centers on two expressions of this singular terroir: Sassella, which designates a specific subzone within Valtellina Superiore, and Sforzato, the region's concentrated, late-harvest style. Sassella Paradiso Valtellina Superiore and Sassella Ertavilla Valtellina Superiore showcase the precision and structure that Nebbiolo achieves at altitude, where cool nights and mineral soils shape the grape's tannins and acidity. Fior Fiore Sforzato di Valtellina represents the bolder end of the spectrum—dried-grape intensity balanced against the variety's natural elegance. Valtellina's Nebbiolo carries the region's signature: high acidity, firm tannins, and a savory, often floral character that rewards patience. Triacca's wines have been assessed by Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast, Wine Advocate, and Falstaff.
