Trockene Schmitts works the steep, mineral-rich slopes of Randersacker in Franken, Germany's easternmost wine region. The winery focuses on dry expressions of three classical Franconian varieties: Rieslaner, Silvaner, and Gewürztraminer. The Konsequent Randersacker Sonnenstuhl Rieslaner Alte Reben Trocken, made from old-vine fruit on the region's prized Sonnenstuhl vineyard, demonstrates the variety's ability to balance acidity with stone-fruit depth. The Silvaner from the same site offers the mineral precision and subtle spice characteristic of Franken's benchmark white. A Gewürztraminer from the Lämmerberg vineyard rounds the portfolio, bringing the aromatic intensity the variety is known for in a dry style.
