Venosa produces wines from Basilicata, in Southern Italy's volcanic terrain. The winery focuses on Aglianico, the region's signature dark grape, which thrives in the mineral-rich soils of Vulture. The Carato Venusio Aglianico del Vulture expresses the variety's structure and depth, while the Superiore designation signals extended aging and concentration. A rosato from the same grape offers a lighter expression of Aglianico's character. The wines have been assessed by Wine Enthusiast, Wine Advocate, Wine Spectator, and Decanter.
