Vigne Chigi

Vigne Chigi works with the native varieties of Terre del Volturno, a wine region in Campania that sits in the shadow of Vesuvius. The winery's portfolio centers on three indigenous grapes: Casavecchia, a dark-skinned variety that yields structured red wines; Pallagrello Nero, another regional red; and Pallagrello Bianco, the white counterpart. These are grapes with deep roots in southern Italian terroir, varieties that have survived centuries of volcanic soil and Mediterranean heat. Vigne Chigi's Casavecchia has earned particular recognition from Wine Enthusiast and Wine Advocate. The Pallagrello whites and reds round out a lineup that reflects the specific character of Campania's volcanic landscape and its heritage varieties.
