Vistamar produces wines from Chile's Cachapoal Valley, in the Rapel region of the Central Valley. The winery focuses on varietals suited to the valley's climate: Chardonnay, Carménère, and Viognier appear across its portfolio. The Gran Reserva Chardonnay and Gran Reserva Carménère represent the core of its output, with the Corte de Campo Coastal Blend—a Viognier and Chardonnay blend—rounding out the range. These wines have been assessed by Wine Advocate, Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast, and Decanter. Cachapoal Valley's warm days and cool nights create conditions for ripe fruit development balanced by acidity, a profile evident in both the structured Carménère and the textured white wines Vistamar produces.
