Vve Fourny & Fils produces Champagne from Vertus, a Premier Cru village in the heart of the region. The house works primarily with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, the classical grapes of Champagne, crafting wines of precision and mineral character. The R Vertus Extra Brut, a blend of both varieties, demonstrates the tension between richness and restraint that defines the appellation. The Blanc de Blancs releases—both the Monts de Vertus and the Blanc de Blancs Vertus Extra Brut Premier Cru—showcase pure Chardonnay expression, capturing the chalky soils and cool-climate intensity of the terroir. These wines have been assessed by Wine Spectator, Decanter, and Wine Advocate.
