The Kreidestein Müllendorfer Ried vineyard—marked by chalky soils that lend the site its name—produces both a Blaufränkisch and a Weissburgunder that have drawn attention from Wine Advocate and Falstaff. The Blaufränkisch from this site shows the variety's characteristic structure and dark fruit, while the Weissburgunder expresses the mineral precision Burgenland whites are known for.
