Weingut Bischöfliches produces wines from the Rheingau, Germany's premier Riesling region. The winery's portfolio centers on Riesling in its various expressions: the Berg Schlossberg Riesling Trockenbeerenauslese, a concentrated sweet wine of remarkable depth, and the Berg Schlossberg Katerloch Riesling Trocken, a dry counterpart that showcases the mineral precision the region is known for. Both wines have earned ratings of 94 points from prestige critics including Falstaff, Wine Advocate, and Wine Spectator. The winery also produces Assmannshausen Pinot Noir Trocken, a dry red from the Rheingau's cooler slopes, rated at 92 points. These wines reflect the Rheingau's continental climate and slate-rich soils, which impart distinctive character to both the aromatic, high-acid Rieslings and the elegant Pinot Noir.
