Windmeul Kelder Cellar is located in Paarl, within the Coastal Region of South Africa's Western Cape. The cellar produces wines anchored in the region's signature varieties and blends. Its Reserve Cape Blend—a composition of Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinotage, Petit Verdot, and Merlot—represents the winery's approach to the Cape's traditional red blend format. Pinotage, South Africa's indigenous variety, appears as a single-varietal Reserve expression. The cellar also produces Chenin Blanc, the white grape that defines much of the Western Cape's aromatic and mineral-driven character. Falstaff has rated these wines, with the Reserve Cape Blend and Reserve Pinotage scoring at the upper end of the prestige scale.
