Zeni operates in Bardolino, the Veneto region of northern Italy where the climate and terrain favor elegant red wines. The winery produces Amarone della Valpolicella Classico in two expressions: one aged in barriques, built from Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella; the other, Vignealte, a blend of Molinara, Corvina, and Rondinella. Both represent the traditional dried-grape method that defines the appellation—a process yielding wines of concentration and depth. Zeni also makes Marogne Lugana, a white from the Turbiana grape grown on the region's limestone soils.
