Question 1

Is it worth going out of your way for?

Accepted Answer

Yes, if you're seeking a Michelin-recognized, ingredient-led meal away from the rowdier waterfront crowds. The short, focused menu and terrace setting on the port road offer a more deliberate dining experience.

Question 2

Who is it for?

Accepted Answer

Couples or small groups prioritizing a thoughtful seafood dinner in a quieter setting. It suits visitors who don't mind the walk down (and back up) Riomaggiore's steep lanes for a meal highlighting local sourcing.

Question 3

What should you order?

Accepted Answer

Lean into the coastal specialties: scampi, sea bass, and anchovy-forward dishes like spaghetti pesto with anchovies. The squid with pepper sauce is also a signature. These plates best showcase the Ligurian staples that define the menu.

Question 4

How do you get a table?

Accepted Answer

Reservations are essential. Call 0187 920616 to book.

Question 5

Anything to know before you go?

Accepted Answer

It's closed on Mondays. The terrace faces the village's stepped lanes rather than the open sea. Expect a €€ price point for a focused, modern-Italian seafood meal.
