Question 1

Is it worth going out of your way for?

Accepted Answer

Yes, if you're interested in Italian wine beyond the major Tuscan and Piedmontese names. The direct-import model gives access to small-scale producers from regions like Campania, Friuli, and Abruzzo that most London wine lists don't stock.

Question 2

Who is it for?

Accepted Answer

It's for anyone wanting to taste Italian wine with context—ideal for a focused date night, a low-key special occasion, or a relaxed evening with friends where learning about producers is part of the experience.

Question 3

What should you order?

Accepted Answer

Ask the staff for a recommendation. They'll suggest bottles from their direct imports based on your taste and budget. If you find something you like, you can buy a bottle to take home.

Question 4

How do you get a table?

Accepted Answer

Walk-ins are welcome, and bookings are possible via SevenRooms.

Question 5

Anything to know before you go?

Accepted Answer

It's a shop that doubles as a bar, so the atmosphere is more like a producer's cellar door than a traditional restaurant. It's closed on Sundays.
