Name: Jitlada Thai Restaurant
Address: West Sunset Boulevard, 5233 1/2, 90027, Los Angeles, United States, Los Angeles, united-states

Question 1

Is it worth going out of your way for?

Accepted Answer

Yes, if you're seeking authentic Southern Thai cuisine, which is genuinely underrepresented in Los Angeles. Its consistent Michelin Plate status and climb on the OAD Casual rankings signal a reliable, high-quality regional specialist.

Question 2

Who is it for?

Accepted Answer

Groups and regulars looking for a lively, casual meal centered on bold, shareable flavors. It suits a celebration that doesn't require a formal tasting menu, where the occasion is the food and company, not the ceremony.

Question 3

What should you order?

Accepted Answer

Lean into Southern Thai signatures like the Crispy Morning Glory Salad and the Dried Catfish Curry. For a casual anchor, try the off-menu Jazz Burger or the Wings and Fried Rice.

Question 4

How do you get a table?

Accepted Answer

Walk-ins are the standard mode for this neighborhood restaurant. Note the split service hours: lunch is 11am to 3pm, dinner runs from 4:30pm to 10pm, and it's closed on Mondays.

Question 5

Anything to know before you go?

Accepted Answer

Expect assertive heat and turmeric-rich preparations. The room is a cozy, regular-driven space in a Sunset Boulevard strip mall, not a formal destination dining room. Plan around the firm Monday closure.
