Question 1

Is it worth going out of your way for?

Accepted Answer

It's built as a neighbourhood anchor, not a spectacle-driven destination. Its value is in a reliable, sustained cocktail program for locals and those seeking a quiet, conversation-forward bar in the Mission.

Question 2

Who is it for?

Accepted Answer

It's for locals and visitors wanting a low-key, thoughtful cocktail without pretense. It suits date nights, after-work drinks, or solo visits where you can linger at the bar, not large or loud groups.

Question 3

What should you order?

Accepted Answer

Trust the bartenders' recommendations and the house approach. The program is built to reward familiarity, so lean into their curated cocktails rather than seeking novelty or theatrics.

Question 4

How do you get a table?

Accepted Answer

Information on reservations is not provided. As a smaller-scale neighbourhood bar, it likely operates on a walk-in basis, especially on weeknights.

Question 5

Anything to know before you go?

Accepted Answer

Expect a cozy, dimly lit Victorian salon-style space with dark floral wallpaper. Plan for a measured pace—this is a place to sit with a cocktail and conversation. Its depth becomes more apparent over return visits.
