A Mano works with the native grapes of Puglia, Italy's sun-drenched southern region. The winery's portfolio centers on Primitivo and Verdeca, varieties that thrive in the warm, dry climate of the heel of the Italian peninsula. The Imprint of Mark Shannon Verdeca, a white wine from the local Verdeca grape, represents the winery's work with the region's aromatic whites. On the red side, both the Prima Mano Primitivo and Imprint of Mark Shannon Primitivo showcase the dark-skinned Primitivo variety, which yields rich, full-bodied wines with the characteristic warmth of southern Italian viticulture. These wines have been assessed by Decanter, Wine Enthusiast, Wine Spectator, Falstaff, and Wine Advocate.
