Abadia da Cova works with the distinctive grapes of Galicia, Spain's Atlantic-influenced northwestern region. The winery's portfolio centers on varieties native to this maritime terroir: Mencia, a dark-skinned grape with mineral precision; Godello, known for its textural complexity and aging potential; and Albariño, the region's signature white with bracing acidity and saline character. Xuno, their Mencia-based wine, has drawn attention from Wine Enthusiast and Decanter. Pedras Líquidas Blanco, a Godello expression, similarly registers with prestige critics. The Albariño rounds out a range rooted in Galician tradition and the cool-climate conditions that define the region's wine identity.
