Aldegheri

Aldegheri produces Amarone della Valpolicella in the Veneto region of Northern Italy, where the appassimento method—drying grapes before fermentation—concentrates fruit and tannin into wines of depth and power. The winery's flagship Amarone della Valpolicella blends Molinara, Rondinella, and Corvina Veronese, grapes native to Valpolicella that yield dark, structured wines. A Classico expression follows the same blend formula with tighter geographic boundaries, while the Classico Riserva, built from Rondinella and Corvina, represents extended aging in the cellar. Valpolicella's volcanic soils and continental climate create the conditions for these full-bodied reds, which develop complexity through years in bottle. Wine Enthusiast, Wine Spectator, Wine Advocate, Decanter, and Falstaff have all assessed Aldegheri's releases.
