Altesino produces wines from Chianti in central Tuscany, drawing on the region's Sangiovese heritage and the mineral-rich terroir of Montosoli. The winery's Brunello di Montalcino Montosoli, a pure Sangiovese expression, has been assessed by Decanter, Wine Enthusiast, Wine Advocate, Wine Spectator, and Falstaff. Its Brunello di Montalcino Riserva, aged longer in wood, represents a more structured interpretation of the same grape. For white wine, Altesino's Bianco di Montosoli blends Trebbiano and Malvasia—a pairing that captures the aromatic and textural range of Tuscany's indigenous whites. Each wine reflects the precision demanded by Chianti's exacting standards and the specific character of its vineyard site.
