Argatia
Argatia produces wines from Naoussa, in Greece's Imathia region of Macedonia. The winery works with indigenous varieties that define the area's character: Xinomavro, the region's signature red grape, alongside white varieties including Malagouzia, Assyrtiko, and Athiri. The Xinomavro bottling represents the winery's core expression of the variety—a wine that has drawn assessment from Wine Advocate, Decanter, and Wine Enthusiast. Haroula, a white blend of Malagouzia and Assyrtiko, offers a different facet of the region's potential. A third white cuvée, blending Athiri, Assyrtiko, and Malagouzia, rounds out the portfolio. These wines reflect Naoussa's continental climate and mineral-rich soils, conditions that have long shaped the region's winemaking identity.
