Argillae

Argillae produces white wines from Umbria, the heart of central Italy. The winery focuses on the region's signature varieties: Grechetto, Procanico, and Sauvignon Blanc, often blended with Chardonnay and aromatic Malvasia di Candia. The Grechetto Umbria showcases the mineral character of its namesake grape, while the Orvieto Superiore and Orvieto Bianco express the layered complexity of traditional Umbrian blends. These wines have been assessed by Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast, and Wine Advocate. Umbria's volcanic soils and continental climate produce whites with crisp acidity and subtle fruit—wines built for food rather than display.
