Baia's Wine

Baia's Wine operates in Imereti, Georgia's western wine region, where ancient grape varieties thrive in a humid subtropical climate. The winery focuses on indigenous cultivars that have defined Georgian viticulture for millennia. Its flagship Krakhuna, made from the single variety of the same name, demonstrates the mineral precision and textural depth that Krakhuna achieves in this terroir. A blended expression—Tsitska, Tsolikouri, and Krakhuna—showcases the region's tradition of field-blend winemaking, layering the aromatic lift of Tsitska with the structured backbone of Krakhuna and the textural contribution of Tsolikouri. Both wines have been assessed by Decanter. Imereti's cool nights and generous rainfall create conditions suited to white wine production, and Baia's selections reflect the region's commitment to varietal authenticity and minimal intervention.
