Benito Ferrara

Benito Ferrara works with the native grapes of Campania, the volcanic region of southern Italy where ancient varieties thrive in challenging terrain. The winery's Vigna Quattro Confini Taurasi, built from Aglianico, demonstrates the dark structure and mineral grip that define the region's most serious reds. Alongside it sit two white expressions: Vigna Cicogna Greco di Tufo, made from Greco, and Sequenzha Fiano di Avellino, from Fiano. These varieties—Greco and Fiano—anchor Campania's white wine identity, offering the acidity and complexity that have drawn critical attention from Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast, and Wine Advocate. The winery's focus remains on expressing terroir through varieties that have rooted themselves in these southern soils for centuries.
