Bertani produces wines from Amarone della Valpolicella, the Veneto region's most prestigious appellation. The winery's flagship Amarone della Valpolicella blends Corvina, Molinara, and Rondinella—grapes dried to concentrate their sugars before fermentation, a traditional method that yields deep, structured wines. The Amarone della Valpolicella Classico follows the same approach with Corvina Veronese and Rondinella. Bertani also makes Catullo Valpolicella Ripasso Classico Superiore, which uses the Ripasso technique: fermenting younger wine on the skins left behind from Amarone production, imparting richness and complexity. These wines have been assessed by Wine Enthusiast, Wine Spectator, Decanter, and Wine Advocate. Amarone della Valpolicella is a wine of power and age-worthiness, built on tannin and alcohol; the Ripasso offers a more approachable entry point to the region's style.
