Bertrand Stehelin produces wines from Gigondas, the Southern Rhône appellation known for structured, age-worthy reds built on Syrah, Grenache, and Mourvèdre. The flagship L'Escalés Gigondas blends these three varieties into a wine that has drawn attention from Wine Spectator, Wine Advocate, Wine Enthusiast, and Decanter. The winery also makes a white from the Côtes du Rhône Villages designation—the Sablet Blanc, a blend of Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, and Marsanne that captures the mineral, herbaceous character of Southern Rhône whites. A Châteauneuf-du-Pape Cuvée rounds out the portfolio, built on Garnacha (Grenache). The range reflects the region's tradition of blended, food-friendly wines suited to the warm Mediterranean climate and rocky terrain of the Southern Rhône.
