Borratella produces wines from Chianti, the heart of Tuscany's red wine country. The winery's core expression, Chianti Classico, centers on Sangiovese—the region's defining grape, known for its bright acidity and earthy structure. The Chianti Classico Riserva deepens the profile with Merlot alongside Sangiovese, adding weight and complexity. Yaro Rosso di Toscana, a blend of Cabernet Franc and Merlot, shifts toward the darker fruit and structure characteristic of Bordeaux varieties grown in central Italian soil.
