Buzzinelli produces wines from Friuli-Venezia Giulia, the northeastern Italian region celebrated for crisp, mineral-driven whites and structured reds. The winery's Friulano and Pinot Grigio exemplify the region's signature style—clean aromatics and bright acidity that reflect the limestone and clay soils of the area. Both wines have been rated by Wine Spectator. Friulano, the indigenous Friuli variety, brings herbaceous notes and a lean frame; Pinot Grigio offers the varietal's characteristic citrus and stone fruit character. Buzzinelli also produces Merlot, the Bordeaux variety that finds a home in this continental climate, where it develops structure and dark fruit depth.
