Cacchiano produces wines from Chianti, the heart of Tuscany's wine country. The winery's portfolio centers on Sangiovese, the region's defining grape—a variety prized for its structure, acidity, and ability to age. The Millennio Chianti Classico Gran Selezione represents the upper tier of the appellation's hierarchy, crafted from pure Sangiovese with the concentration and complexity that Gran Selezione designation demands. A sparkling expression, the Metodo Classico Spumante Rosé, also built on Sangiovese, shows the grape's versatility beyond still wine. Cacchiano also produces Vin Santo del Chianti Classico, the region's traditional fortified wine made from Malvasia and Canaiolo Nero—a wine of oxidative character and dried-fruit intensity. Wines from Cacchiano have been assessed by Wine Spectator, Wine Advocate, Decanter, and Wine Enthusiast.
