Carbone produces wines from Basilicata, a region in southern Italy known for its volcanic soils and continental climate. The winery focuses on indigenous varieties suited to the terrain: Aglianico, the region's signature red grape, and Fiano, a white with mineral precision. The Stupor Mundi Riserva, made from Aglianico, represents the winery's top expression—a wine that has drawn assessment from Wine Enthusiast, Wine Advocate, and Wine Spectator. The standard Stupor Mundi, also Aglianico-based, offers a more approachable entry to the varietal's dark fruit and structured tannins. The Fiano rounds out the portfolio with the aromatic, crisp character typical of the variety.
