Carputo

Carputo works with the native varieties of Campania, the volcanic region of Southern Italy where Mediterranean warmth meets mineral-rich soils. The winery's portfolio centers on three grapes rooted in local tradition: Aglianico, a dark-skinned variety that yields structured reds; Piedirosso, another regional dark grape; and Falanghina, a white with natural acidity and aromatic presence. The Etalòn Aglianico Campania and Pér è Palummo Campi Flegrei—sourced from the Campi Flegrei volcanic zone—represent the winery's work with red varieties, while the Collina Viticella Falanghina dei Campi Flegrei showcases the white side. Wine Advocate has rated these releases. The specificity of the vineyard designations reflects Campania's terroir-driven approach, where volcanic geology and coastal influence shape the character of each wine.
