Casale Triocco produces wines from Umbria, in central Italy's rolling landscape. The winery focuses on Sagrantino, the region's signature dark grape—structured, tannic, and capable of aging. The Sagrantino di Montefalco expresses the variety's characteristic depth and power, while the Pagina Sagrantino di Montefalco offers another interpretation of the same terroir and fruit. The Montefalco Rosso, a blend of Sangiovese and Sagrantino, marries the brightness of Sangiovese with Sagrantino's weight and grip. Wine Spectator and Wine Enthusiast have rated these releases.
