Château Canet produces wines from Languedoc-Roussillon, the sprawling Mediterranean region known for bold reds and mineral whites. The winery's white wines draw on the region's classic varieties: Vermentino, Roussanne, Bourboulenc, and Muscat Blanc appear in the Vieilles Vignes Minervois Blanc, a blend that has attracted attention from Wine Spectator and Wine Advocate. A leaner expression, the Minervois Blanc, pairs Bourboulenc with Roussanne for a drier profile. On the red side, Les Evangiles showcases Syrah, the dark-skinned grape that thrives in Languedoc's warm continental climate, delivering the peppery structure and dark fruit the variety is known for. Both red and white offerings reflect the terroir of Minervois, a sub-region within Languedoc-Roussillon marked by limestone soils and a long growing season.
