Cigliuti produces Nebbiolo and Barbera from Piemonte in Northern Italy, a region defined by its powerful, structured reds and demanding terroir. The winery's Vie Erte Barbaresco and Serraboella Barbaresco showcase Nebbiolo's signature architecture—high tannin, high acidity, and the mineral complexity that emerges from the Alba hills. Both wines have drawn assessment from Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast, Wine Advocate, and Decanter. The Campass Barbera d'Alba, made from the region's secondary red variety, offers a different expression: Barbera's darker fruit and softer tannin structure, yet with the precision expected of serious Piemontese winemaking.
