Coltibuono produces wines from Chianti, in the heart of Toscana. The winery's portfolio centers on Sangiovese, the region's defining red grape, which appears across its range from single-varietal expressions to complex blends. The Vin Santo Del Chianti Classico Occhio Di Pernice, made from Sangiovese, represents the winery's work in fortified wine—a traditional Tuscan category. Montebello Toscana, a multi-varietal blend drawing on Sangiovese alongside Foglia Tonda, Malvasia Nera, Mammolo, Pugnitello, Ciliegiolo, Colorino del Valdarno, and Canaiolo Nero, showcases the diversity of grapes available to Chianti producers. The Vin Santo Del Chianti Classico, blending Sangiovese with Malvasia and Trebbiano, rounds out the house style. Wines from Coltibuono have been assessed by Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast, Falstaff, Wine Advocate, and Decanter.
