Cordella produces Sangiovese-based wines from Montalcino in Tuscany's heart. The winery's portfolio centers on the region's defining expressions: Brunello di Montalcino, a wine of structure and aging potential built from Sangiovese grown in this limestone-rich corner of central Italy, and its more approachable sibling, Rosso di Montalcino. A Brunello Riserva rounds out the lineup, representing extended oak aging and concentration. Montalcino's elevation and clay-rich soils shape Sangiovese into wines of mineral tension and dark fruit character—wines that demand time in glass and cellar alike. Cordella's releases have drawn assessment from Wine Enthusiast, Wine Advocate, Wine Spectator, Decanter, and Falstaff.
