Damoli

Damoli produces wines from Valpolicella, the Veneto region of Northern Italy renowned for its distinctive dried-grape method. The winery's portfolio centers on the classic trio of Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella—grapes that define the area's character. Checo Amarone della Valpolicella Classico, made from Corvinone, Corvina, and Rondinella, represents the appassimento tradition at its most concentrated: grapes dried before fermentation to yield richness and depth. Moraria Valpolicella Classico and Giago Valpolicella Ripasso Classico Superiore offer complementary expressions of the same core varieties. The Ripasso method—where Valpolicella is refermented on Amarone's spent skins—creates wines of intermediate weight and complexity. Damoli's wines have been assessed by Wine Advocate, Decanter, and Wine Enthusiast.
