Decugnano dei Barbi produces wines from Umbria, the heart of Central Italy. The winery's portfolio centers on red blends that marry local Montepulciano and Sangiovese with international varieties like Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon. A.D. 1212, a Syrah-Cabernet-Montepulciano blend, represents the upper range of the house style. Il Rosso follows a similar philosophy, anchoring Sangiovese and Montepulciano with Syrah. On the white side, Pourriture Noble Muffa Nobile d'Umbria—a botrytized blend of Procanico, Sémillon, Sauvignon Blanc, and Grechetto—demonstrates the winery's range beyond dry reds.
