Domaine de Côtes Rémont sits in Chénas, the smallest and most northerly cru of Beaujolais. The vineyard works with Gamay, the region's signature variety, drawing mineral and structure from granite-rich soils that define this corner of the Rhône Valley. The domaine produces two cru wines: Juliénas and Chénas, both pure expressions of Gamay grown on steep, rocky terrain. These are wines built for aging—darker and more structured than their lighter Beaujolais cousins, with the earthiness and tannin grip that Chénas terroir imparts. Wine Advocate and Wine Enthusiast have rated both bottlings, recognizing their depth and regional authenticity.
