Domaine Launay

Domaine Launay works the vineyards of Beaujolais, the storied region south of Burgundy where Gamay thrives on granite and schist soils. The winery produces two principal wines: a Bourgogne Blanc built from Chardonnay, and a Saint-Amour from Gamay—the latter a cru Beaujolais known for its bright acidity and mineral character. The Bourgogne Blanc has drawn attention from Wine Advocate, Wine Spectator, and Wine Enthusiast. The Saint-Amour, too, has been assessed by the same panel of prestige critics. Both wines reflect the region's continental climate and the winemaker's focus on the classic varieties that define this corner of France.
