Domaine du Granit produces Gamay-based wines from Bourgogne's Beaujolais crus. The winery's portfolio centers on old-vine expressions from two of the region's most prestigious terroirs: Fleurie and Moulin-à-Vent. Les Garants Vieilles Vignes Fleurie demonstrates the silky, fruit-forward character typical of Fleurie, while the Vieilles Vignes selections from Moulin-à-Vent—La Rochelle and Les Caves—showcase the structure and mineral depth that define that appellation's granite-based soils. Gamay from mature vines in these crus yields wines of complexity and aging potential, moving beyond the light, quaffable profile associated with younger Beaujolais. Wine Advocate has rated the winery's releases.
