Domaine MIA produces Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from Bourgogne's Mercurey and Rully appellations. The winery's flagship Mercurey 'Clos la Marche' Monopole, a single-vineyard Pinot Noir, has earned recognition from Wine Enthusiast. A second Pinot Noir, Mercurey Premier Cru 'Les Vasées', reflects the precision typical of the region's mid-slope sites. The whites include Les Plantenays Rully, a Chardonnay from one of Bourgogne's underrated communes. These wines express the mineral tension and structured fruit characteristic of eastern Burgundy, where continental climate and limestone-rich soils shape lean, age-worthy expressions of both varieties.
