Dow's produces Port wines from the Duriense region of Northern Portugal, where the Douro Valley's steep terraced vineyards yield the dark, concentrated fruit that defines the category. The winery's portfolio centers on fortified expressions that showcase the region's native varieties—Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca, and others—in different aging regimes. The Rosé Port, a blend of Tinta Roriz, Touriga Nacional, and Touriga Franca, represents a lighter, fruit-forward interpretation of the style. The Colheita Single Harvest Tawny Port, aged in wood and composed of five varieties including Tinto Cao and Tinta Barroca, displays the oxidative complexity characteristic of tawny aging. The Quinta Senhora da Ribeira Vintage Port, drawn from a single harvest and blended from the same core grapes, captures the structure and aging potential of declared vintage years. These wines have been assessed by Wine Enthusiast, Wine Advocate, Wine Spectator, Decanter, and Falstaff.
