Dugladze

Dugladze produces wines in Kakheti, Georgia's premier wine region, using the ancient qvevri method—fermentation in large clay vessels buried underground. The winery works with indigenous Georgian grapes, particularly Kisi and Saperavi, varieties that thrive in Kakheti's continental climate and have been cultivated here for centuries. Georgian Love Kisi Qvevri Dry, the winery's flagship white, expresses the mineral precision and textural depth that qvevri fermentation imparts to Kisi. The Georgian Love Saperavi Qvevri Dry showcases the dark, structured character of Saperavi, Georgia's signature red variety. A third expression, Kisi Qvevri Dry Amber, demonstrates the oxidative richness possible within the qvevri tradition. Decanter has rated these wines, recognizing their expression of terroir and method.
