Esporão produces wines from Portugal's Alentejano region, where the continental climate and diverse terroir support both indigenous and international varieties. The winery's portfolio centers on red blends anchored in Touriga Nacional and Aragonez, grapes that thrive in the region's warm, dry conditions. Torre Tinto, a blend of Shiraz, Touriga Nacional, Alicante Bouschet, and Aragonez, represents the winery's approach to structured reds. Assobio Douro, composed of Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, and Touriga Nacional, draws from the neighboring Douro region's heritage varieties. The winery also works with white grapes suited to Alentejano's climate: Roupeiro, Antão Vaz, and Arinto de Bucelas appear in Vinho de Talha Branco, a white that reflects both traditional and contemporary winemaking. These wines have been assessed by Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast, Decanter, Wine Advocate, and Falstaff.
