Ettore Sammarco
Ettore Sammarco works the steep terraced vineyards of Campania, in the dramatic landscape of southern Italy's Amalfi Coast. The winery focuses on white wines built from indigenous varieties—Biancolella and Falanghina—grapes that thrive in the region's volcanic soils and maritime climate. Vigna Grotta Piana Ravello Costa d'Amalfi, a blend of these two varieties, represents the winery's core expression, while Ravello Selva delle Monache Costa d'Amalfi Bianco offers another interpretation of the same terroir. The Tramonti Pietre di Tramonti Riserva rounds out the portfolio. These wines have been assessed by Wine Advocate and Decanter, reflecting the winery's standing among serious critics of Italian whites.
