Foivos

Foivos produces wines from Cephalonia, the largest island in the Ionian archipelago. The winery works with indigenous Greek varieties suited to the island's maritime climate and limestone soils. Nautilus Dry Red, made from Mavrodafni, shows the dark-fruited character typical of this Peloponnesian grape adapted to island conditions. Pandrosos blends Muscatel, Goustolidi, Tsaoussi, and Muscat Blanc—a composition that reflects Cephalonia's heritage of aromatic white varieties. Barcarola, a single-varietal Robola, draws on the crisp, mineral-driven profile for which this local white is recognized. The wines have been assessed by Wine Advocate, Wine Enthusiast, Wine Spectator, and Decanter.
