Goretti produces wines from Umbria, in central Italy, where the Sagrantino grape reaches its fullest expression. The winery's flagship offerings—Il Sagrato and Le Mura Saracene, both Sagrantino di Montefalco—demonstrate the variety's characteristic structure and depth. A third wine, L'Arringatore, blends Sangiovese, Ciliegiolo, and Merlot into a more complex frame. These wines have been assessed by Wine Enthusiast, Wine Spectator, and Wine Advocate. Sagrantino, native to Montefalco, is known for its tannin-forward profile and ability to age; in Goretti's hands, the grape yields wines of substance and balance.
