Guastaferro works with the volcanic soils and Mediterranean climate of Campania, in southern Italy's Irpinia zone. The winery focuses on Aglianico, the region's signature dark grape—a variety known for structure, depth, and aging potential. Primum Taurasi, their flagship Aglianico, demonstrates the grape's capacity for complexity and power. Memini Irpinia Aglianico offers a second expression of the variety, while Fulgeo Bianco, made from Rovello Bianco, rounds out the portfolio with a white counterpoint. Both Wine Spectator and Wine Enthusiast have rated these wines.
